Abstract
Differential lock is a means of improving tractor performance. This system causes the revolution of the axles to become equal. It, improves traction, decreases abrasion of drive tires, improves fuel consumption, and increases tractor work rate. Despite advantages of the system, differential lock has not been optimized in Iran. Thus, a semi-automatic differential lock system for MF-285 tractor was designed and developed. First of all, the different parts of the system were designed, selected, assembled. Under critical conditions, the designed system should disengage the differential lock. Critical conditions for engaging this system are: using of independent brake pedals, high forward speed, and turning the steering wheel. For sensing and measuring the critical conditions, proper sensors were selected. Output signals of these sensors were sent to a micro controller to decide the continuous engaging or disengaging. Finally, a MF-285 tractor was equipped with the designed system. The tractor performance in primary tillage was evaluated using a mounted moldboard plow with a width of 110 cm and a working depth of 25 cm.
These tests showed that unbalanced weight distribution on wheels and unequal traction capacity under drive wheels cause the slip of one wheel to be 6 percent higher thananother. This system improves the unequal slip problem and decreases fuel consumption by 0.5 L/ha.

Abstract
The forms and dynamics of soil phosphorus can be greatly affected by land use changes, which often involve changes in vegetation cover, biomass production and nutrient cycling in the ecosystem. Present research evaluates the impact of land use change on the amount of total organic and inorganic P, labile, moderately labile and nonlabile P pools in semiarid soils of central Zagros. Samples were collected from surface soils (0-10 cm) of i) of moderately degraded pasture (20-25% plant cover), ii) highly degraded pasture (5-10 % plant cover), and iii) cultivated field (10 years) in Soolegan sub watershed and i) moderately degraded pasture (25-30 % plant cover) and ii) highly degraded pasture (5-10 % plant cover) in Sadat Abad sub-watershed. Significantly (P<0.05) low amounts of total organic P were found following cultivation (23.9%) and overgrazing (18.2 and 40.8 %) in Soolegan and Sadat Abad, respectively. The largest depletion of labile organic P (NaHCO3-Po) (72.3%) and moderately labile organic P (H2SO4-Po plus NaOH-Pi) (24.3%) were observed in cultivated rainfed land in Soolegan. Overgrazing led to decrease in labile organic P (42.1 and 64.4%), moderately labile organic P (13.9 and 35.7%) and nonlabile organic P (NaOH-Po) including moderately resistant and resistant organic P (12.9 and 44.4%) in Soolegan and Sadat Abad, respectively. Our results showed that degradation of natural plant cover cause to depletion in the soil P pools. Decreasing the amounts of moderately resistant and resistant P pools led to a decline in soil productivity and fertility.

Abstract
Deficit irrigation is one of the strategies used to obtain products with maximum profits in recent years. In this context, research on determining appropriate levels of deficit irrigation is essential. Since determining the different levels of performance through field experiments is difficult, the use of simulation models is a strategy through which we can examine the water balance data, simulate the growth process, and to study different managerial scenarios. The purpose of this study was validation and evaluation of CropSyst, a plant growth model, to determine suitable cropping patterns in deficit irrigation conditions. Applying three deficit irrigation scenarios in model, with values of 10%, 20% and 30% on six crops, fava bean, bean, wheat, potato, sunflower and rice, we concluded that the applied deficit irrigation of 10% to bean, potato and beans, 20% to sunflower and 30% to wheat had been suitable, and it is better not to apply deficit irrigation in rice. Also, since in final selection, the rate of water productivity is one of the basic criteria in each crop mentioned above, determining net benefit based on drop index (NBPD) per cubic meter showed that the most NBPD is related to bean with 6853 Rials per cubic meters and the lowest amount is related to sunflower with a value equal to 2809 Rials per cubic meters.

Abstract
Land surface temperature (LST) is used as one of the key sources to study land surface processes such as evapotranspiration, development of indexes, air temperature modeling and climate change. Remote sensing data offer the possibility of estimating LST all over the world with high temporal and spatial resolution. Landsat-8, which has two thermal infrared channels, provides an opportunity for the retrieval of LST using the split- window method. The main objective of this research was to analyze the LST of land use/land cover types of the central part of Isfahan Province using the split- window algorithm. The obtained results demonstrated that the "other" class which had been mainly covered with bare lands exhibited the highest LST (50.9°C). Impervious surfaces including residential areas, roads and industries had the LST of 45°C. The lowest temperature was observed in the "water" class, which was followed by vegetation. Vegetation recorded a mean LST of 42.3°C. R2 was 0.63 when regression was carried out on LST and air temperature.

Abstract
The discharge coefficient of labyrinth weirs increases with increasing the crest length in a certain width range. The present research was carried out in a laboratory flume with a length of 8 m, a width of 0.6 m, and a height of 0.6 m. The discharge coefficient of two-cycle symmetric and asymmetric rectangular labyrinth weirs was experimentally measured. The dimensional analysis by the Buckingham π theorem indicated that the discharge coefficient was dependent on Se, B/Wavg, Ht/P, and WL/WR. According to the results, the discharge coefficient decreased with increasing the hydraulic head in the symmetric and asymmetric labyrinth weirs and the linear weir. Asymmetric labyrinth weirs with a WL/WR of 2.05 outperformed symmetric labyrinth weirs with a WL/WR of 1. Quantitatively, the discharge coefficient of the labyrinth weir with a B/Wavg of 3.1 was respectively 21% and 94% higher than that with a B/Wavg of 2.93 and 2.76. The discharge coefficient of the labyrinth weir with a WL/WR of 2.05 was 10-27% higher than that with a WL/WR of 1. The discharge coefficient of the linear weir was 60-250% higher than that of labyrinth weirs.

Abstract
In precision agriculture, a productivity rating system is a significant tool to quantitatively assess soil quality. An experiment was conducted in Bilavar, Kermanshah to evaluate the spatial variability of physical indicators of soil quality of a rapeseed (Brassica napus) field. Spatial variability analysis of soil physical properties measured on a rectangular grid (100 m×100 m) was carried out using a geostatistical analyst extension of Arc-GIS software. Five physical soil quality indicators including bulk density (BD), non-capillary porosity (NCP), field saturated hydraulic conductivity (Ks), available water retention capacity (AWC), and organic carbon (OC) were determined. The physical rating index (PRI) at each sampling point was determined by multiplying the rating values for all five parameters. Results revealed that major ranges of semivariogram for Ks and AWC varied between 137-145 m and for BD, OC, and NCP they were relatively long (161-205 m). Clay and NCP showed moderate spatial dependence (0.68 and 0.28, respectively) whereas the rest of the parameters showed weak spatial dependence. Also, the correlation between PRI and the biological yield of rapeseed was fairly good (R2=0.68). Investigation of zoning maps of soil physical properties showed an increase in BD and a decrease in AWC and NCP parameters depending on changes in soil texture and organic matter content in some parts of the field. In general, the PRI index is an important tool in the quantitative assessment of soil physical conditions, and based on it and zoning maps can improve the physical quality of soil in agricultural fields.
